At Labella Bridal Boutique, Breast Cancer Awareness Month means something personal. So many of the brides who walk through our doors on Mill Street carry stories of mothers, sisters, aunts, and friends who have faced this disease - and some of our brides have faced it themselves.
That's part of why we're proud to support Brides Against Breast Cancer, an organization that gives brides touched by cancer the chance to find their dream gown at a fraction of the cost, with proceeds going toward wish-granting programs for those living with the disease. It's a mission that speaks directly to what we believe here at Labella - that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, hopeful, and celebrated, especially in the moments that matter most.
This October, we're making a donation to Brides Against Breast Cancer in honor of every client who has ever sat in our fitting room and shared a story of strength. Whether it was a mother of the bride who beat cancer years ago and cried happy tears zipping up her daughter's gown, or a bride who walked down the aisle mid-treatment, headscarf trimmed with lace to match her dress - these stories stay with us.
We believe faith, gratitude, and grace carry us through the hardest seasons, and we've seen that truth lived out again and again by the women in our community. So this month, we invite you to join us: wear pink, share a story, support a survivor, or simply pause and remember someone you love.
